Status

Whether the Memora bridge is accepting deposits and redemptions on each chain, what each state means for your funds, and how incidents are communicated.

The bridge checks, before you sign anything, whether it can complete a transfer end to end.

Last checked: Coming soon

Each origin chain is checked, and can be paused, on its own. A pause on one origin chain does not stop transfers on another. A problem on Canton itself affects every chain.

What the check covers

The same four conditions gate the app's transfer button for each chain. If any fails, the button is disabled and the reason is shown in its place.

  1. The bridge is deployed on the Canton network and the ledger is reachable. Without this nothing can be issued or burned.
  2. The asset is configured for deposits. The token's instrument on Canton is bound to the asset on the origin chain. For Solana, the SOLx instrument is bound to the wrapped SOL mint. Without this a deposit would be locked with no way to issue it.
  3. The attestor quorum is satisfiable. Enough attestors are configured to meet the threshold. With fewer than the threshold, every mint and release would be refused, so the bridge refuses to start.
  4. The bridge service is responding. The relayer that carries transfers between chains is alive and processing. Without it a transfer would stall.

The check fails closed. If it cannot determine health, it reports the bridge as unavailable.

What each state means for your funds

StateNew transfersTransfers in flight
OperationalAcceptedCompleting normally
Deposits pausedNo new deposits. Redemptions may still be accepted.Deposits already locked are issued when deposits resume.
Redemptions pausedNo new redemptions. Deposits may still be accepted.Redemptions already burned are paid out when redemptions resume.
UnavailableNothing new is accepted.Everything in flight completes when service resumes.

A pause does not affect funds already in the bridge. A locked deposit is issued, and a burned redemption is paid out. If a deposit cannot be issued within its processing window it is refunded automatically. See the FAQ.

Scheduled maintenance

We schedule upgrades to a vault on an origin chain, Canton package upgrades, changes to an attestor set or fee schedule, and the addition of an origin chain, and announce them here in advance with the expected duration and the identifiers that will change. Compare against Verified Deployments after an upgrade.

Incident communication

When the bridge pauses because of an incident rather than scheduled maintenance:

  • This page shows the affected chain and direction within minutes of the pause.
  • We post an initial notice stating what is affected and what to expect, without waiting for a root cause.
  • We post updates at a fixed interval until resolution. Update interval: Coming soon.
  • We publish a plain-language post-incident note after resolution, stating what happened, what it affected, and what changed as a result. Publication deadline: Coming soon. Post-incident notes describe impact and remediation. They do not describe attack mechanics that remain relevant.
